1) Warning signals
- Seller in too much of a hurry, abnormally low price.
- Refusal of appointments, “bizarre” payment requests.
- Carrier imposed, messages copied and pasted.
2) Meet: where and how
- Public and safe place, during the day.
- Check the item completely (serial number if relevant).
- If possible, come in pairs for expensive transactions.
3) Payment: favor traceability
Choose a method that leaves a trace and corresponds to the context (amount, trust, discount). Avoid “too complicated” diagrams and keep proof (message, receipt, confirmation).
4) Discount: proof & mini-contract
- Write a mini-contract (date, price, status, signatures) for large sales.
- Maintain exchanges (chat/email) in the event of a dispute.
